So, 6 months later...

Here's a couple of images, straight out of the camera. The second one is for my brother, one of the few frequenters of this site, just to see the newest fish tank.

Here are a few pictures of my little girl that I took this last weekend. My kids are getting too comfortable with me taking their picture, a little tired of it as well I think. Either way, I usually get a few gems each time. These are also the first few post processing edits I've done with CS4. Still getting used to it.

Taking a break

It's been a while since I posted anything. Life has been very busy. I graduated from Western University of Health Sciences with a degree in Veterinary Medicine. It was a great day. Four long years are finally finished. We moved from Arizona as I started a job in Salt Lake City, UT. Life has been so busy and between work and family responsibilities I just don't have the time to keep up with this blog. I'll continue taking pictures, and the fish, well they are on hold too. A few more classic pics to sign off with. Like usual, straight out of the camera. Thanks for reading. Rich

A few more fish

Here are a few pics, not my best work but I was trying a few different lighting options. They came out too yellow but this was the first time I got a few of the smaller fish in my tank.

Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare), common guppy (Poecilia reticulata), Cerdinal tetras (Paracheirodon axelrodi), and an overexposed cory cat (Corydoras spp.).
The Cherry barbs (Puntius titteya), male and female

This guy is pretty cool, an American flagfish (Jordanella floridae).

I got the tank cleaned up this weekend and while I borrowed my sister's camera I got this nice shot.

My other hobby...

My fish tank has fallen by the wayside recently as everyday life has swallowed most of my time. The algae (not as unatractive as it could be) is overgrown and the ever present algae eating fish has been slacking on the job. Anyway, these are not my best photos of the fish but I wanted to chronicle the growth on the driftwood.

The Out Takes...

The kids can't help but ham it up most of the time. Even the babe is in on the action.

I even got this sweet scarface shot of Mace-dog. "Cause your not hard core, unless you live hardcore."
